The story of
Armand “Frank” Albano, 83, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. Born on September 5, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the beloved son of Nicholas and Frances (Caro) Albano. Armand was a graduate of Staten Island City College, where he earned his teaching degree. A man of many talents and passions, he worked as a freelance reporter and had a lifelong love of writing, particularly about conspiracy topics including the JFK assassination and chem trails. He was a proud member of COPA and was known for his curious mind, spirited conversations, and unique perspective on the world. He was also an accomplished sketch artist whose creativity and talent reflected his deep appreciation for art and expression. Music was also a defining part of Armand’s life. An accomplished professional drummer, he performed in various venues throughout his career, including clubs in Greenwich Village, where his talent and love for music brought joy to many. Armand is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Joyce (Lodato) Albano; his stepson, Frank E. Lodato; his brother, Robert (Patty) Albano of New Jersey; his sister, Maryann (Pat) Pepe of Long Island, New York; his nephews, John, Christopher, and Philip; and his niece, Gina. Though his suffering has ended, his memory, humor, music, artistry, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As Armand would always say: “Never say goodbye — just say, ‘See you later.’”
