Antonia Marie Gomez Fondly known as Tonia, Rose and Tonia Belle. Sent as a blessing to this Earthly World on October 11, 1952 in Pueblo, Colorado. Returned to the Lord on July 17, 2026 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Tonia was a sweet gentle loving soul and all that knew her loved her. She was generous beyond words. Always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends. Her passion was cooking and her love came through in every dish. She was a tremendously a good sister, friend, aunt and human to all. She would go out of her way to help others and many times go without to share her generosity. Her other love was dogs. She cared for them like children. She had a great sense of humor and even when situations were not the best, she could find the sunny side and make you laugh. She had a gift of sharing endless jokes for everyone’s entertainment, which we will all miss. She worked at Star Bar, where she was known for her green chile, Do Drop In and finished her career with District 70. She loved the kids and had a special place in her heart for the special needs kids. She would jokingly say, “You can now say you have a sister that rides the short bus.” Tonia was preceded in death by her parents, an older sister and her favorite nephew. She is survived by her favorite brother, Robert Gomez and sister Georgia DeVorss (Scott), nieces, great nieces, great nephews, a great-great niece, and an aunt. At Tonia’s request no service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Always Loved Forever Missed Never Forgotten! Please notify her brother or sister for date and time.
