The story of
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Stephen Baggarly, affectionately known as Tony, who left this world peacefully at home on April 9, 2026, after courageously facing an illness for the past 18 months. Born November 20, 1969, in Dallas, Texas. Tony was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of so many with his warmth, humor, and unyielding spirit. Tony was the beloved son of Howell and Mary Baggarly, who predeceassed him and whose loving influence shaped the kind heart and compassionate nature that he carried throughout life. He is survived by his devoted fiancee, Charlene, who stood by his side throughout the last 5 years of life's adventures and challenges. His sisters, Christy and Lisa, remember him as a protective and loving brother. Tony's legacy lives on in his two cherished sons, Bryan and Brandon, who were his pride and joy. A dedicated professional, Tony spent the last seven years of his career at Locke Supply, where his colleagues admired him for his work ethic and the genuine camaraderie he fostered. His intelligent humor and straightforward approach to life earned him respect and friendships that extended beyond the workplace. Tony's life was a tapestry of passions and pursuits. An ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, his love for sports was infectious, and game days were filled with lively energy and loyal enthusiasm. His musical talents were as diverse as they were profound; whether he was playing the drums, strumming the violin, or belting out a tune, music was a language through which Tony expressed the very essence of his soul. His voice, often heard singing joyfully and as loud as possible, will echo in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of hearing it. Traveling with Charlene brought Tony immense joy, from exploring historical sites to the thrill of paragliding or the serene beauty of watching dolphins dance in the ocean waves. These adventures were shared with laughter, love, and a keen appreciation for the wonders of the world. Tony will forever be remembered for his "smart-ass" attitude - a charming blend of wit and honesty that endeared him to everyone he met. He was a man who lived authentically, never swayed by the opinions of others. His generosity, particularly during the Christmas season, was emblematic of his big heart, as he delighted in buying toys to bring smiles to children's faces. As we say goodbye to Tony, we celebrate a life lived fully and fearlessly. His spirit, humor, and love have left an incredible mark on all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Tony. Your laughter, music, and love will forever resonate in our hearts.
