Anna Marie Pluchel (nee Hamer) “Ann” passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she grew up in South Jersey. Ann is survived by her three children; Anna M. Yano (Chris), William H. Pluchel, III (Naomi), and Wayne H. Quesada, Jr. (Karen); and her brother, Ernest V. Hamer, Jr. (Donna). Loving grandmother to Berkeley, Mason, Fallon, Kensington, Raven, Damian, Giselle, Renée, and Roman. Ann is predeceased by her parents, Ernest V. and Josephine M. Ann was blessed with a sharp wit and sardonic sense of humor, both of which she wielded as she saw fit and always at her sole discretion. Ann was an entertaining conversationalist who never hid her disdain for authority. Ann spent most of her professional career as a cracker-jack legal secretary, first in and around Philadelphia, and later in Phoenix. She loved being married so much that she tried it three times. Ann will be missed by friends and family alike. Services will be private.
