The story of
Andrew Glen Strasburg – better known as “Andee” – was born June 7, 1974 at the Murray Cottonwood Hospital to his parents Dee Strasburg and Ann Fenn Strasburg. He peacefully passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 49. Andee led an extraordinary life, and almost all of it was in Highland, Utah. He attended several schools in Lehi, Utah, and graduated from Lehi High School. Andee was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a holder of the Melchizedek Priesthood. Andee was blessed with the gift of being close to the Spirit. He was able to discern others’ Spirits and knew when he and or his mother needed a priesthood blessing. Andee also had a great personality. He loved people and enjoyed being around them. He was a big tease and had a fun sense of humor. Andee truly enjoyed hunting with his family and going target shooting with friends and family. Andee had many good friends throughout his life, but none stronger than his grandfather (Glen) Strasburg, his dad and his mom. When his dad passed away 18 years ago, Andee changed. He matured quickly because in his mind he now needed to take care of his mom. Through those years, Andee and his mom developed an eternal love for each other. Andee loved his sisters and their families in addition to extended family members. Andee is survived by his mother Ann, his sister Kelly (Mardy) Rich, Sydney (niece), Maddox (nephew), his youngest sister Randi (Kooper) Barton, Lili and Charlotte (nieces), and James (nephew). Andee is preceded in death by his father Dee, his sister Sashá, grandparents and many other family and friends. There will be no funeral services held, as per Andee’s request. Thank you to all family, friends, teachers, mentors, and all who were part of Andee’s life. And thanks to doctors, nurses, and all who cared for Andee during his times of need. Ann would like to thank everyone who has texted, called, visited and prayed for her, Andee and her family.
