Alex Lucero, age 52, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. He was born on March 03, 1969. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboy, horse racing, and wrestling fan. He also enjoyed the casino, movies, and concerts. Alex dedicated his life to helping his family and making others laugh. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lucero, brother Ruben Lucero, and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Deborah Lucero of Gilbert, AZ, and two sons, Alex (TRI) Lucero and his significant other Lucy Faulkner of Gilbert, AZ and, Ezekiel Lucero of Gilbert, AZ, his father Alex R. Lucero of Raton, NM, brother Rudy Lucero of Raton, NM, and sister Debra DeHerrera and her husband Arnold DeHerrera of Alamosa, CO. He is also survived by his grandchildren Siana and Dre. Alex’s wishes did not include a funeral service. A gathering for the spreading of his ashes will be held with his immediate family only.
