Jason Paul Swonger May 2, 1970 – December 30, 2025 Jason Paul Swonger passed away on December 30, 2025. Jason was known as the life of the party, with a natural ability to make people laugh and bring light into any room. Fearless in spirit and full of heart, he lived boldly and loved deeply—especially his children, who meant everything to him. Jason is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, Joclynne, Jessie Swonger, and Kaitlyn Rios; his father, Merle Swonger, and his wife Yolanda; and his mother, Gail Shelton, and her husband Kevin Shelton. He is also survived by his siblings, John Swonger (spouse Amanda) and Tiffany Huerta (spouse Jimmy). Jason leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Gavin Matthews, Hunter Huerta, Tyler Swonger, Lizabeth Byers, Jose Rodriguez, and John Swonger Jr. Jason will be remembered for his humor, his courage, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be forever missed and always carried in the hearts of those who loved him. A private Mass will be held for family.
