Mary A. Jones Woodward-Buckle, 80 years, passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2024, at her home in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on December 17th, 1943, in Tecumseh, Michigan to Robert and Mary Jones. She was a beacon of light and warmth to all who knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Bryan Woodward (Carmen) and Stephen Wesley Woodward (Jennifer), ex-husband Thomas R. Woodward (Joan), and was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop T. Buckle, sister Winifred, brothers Robert and Phillip. A graduate of Findlay High School, Findlay, Ohio 1961. Mary and Tom married in 1962 and moved to Michigan in 1964. The Woodward family moved from Michigan to Alaska in 1982. She retired from the federal government after 25 years of service, and she and Bishop moved to Arizona in 2016.
